Soft, gentle modern Italian wine with just a hint of cool crisp green apple and peach fruit, alongside the bright lemon and lime. Delicate and delicious it is a perfect anytime white.
Crisp and dry
Le Poesie Pinot Grigio. Italy	3.15	17.45
Bright golden colour with copper twilights. Charming nose of roasted peanuts, white chocolate and yellow cherries. The palate has both good weight, with flavors of white spices and Granny Smith apples.
Santa Vittoria Gavi 2010. Italy		27.95
From the vineyards around the town of Alessandria and made from 100% Cortese, this wine has clean fruit aromas that develop on contact with the air to become full and tropical. The palate is fresh and lively with plenty of fruit, citus notes and an underlying minerality.
Chateau de Jurque, Fantasie de Jurque - Jurancon sec 2008. France		28.95
This delicious Jurancon Sec is an equal blend of Gros and Petit Manseng grown in the region's clay limestone soil. The aromas are fine and very intense with a combination of fruit and floral perfumes (honeysuckle, jasmine, grapefruit, lime and grapes). On the palate the wine gives rich fruit flavours whilst retaining great freshness.
Clean but rounded

A fresh, tropical fruit flavoured Chardonnay made in the modern style with no contact with oak at any stage. Lots of refreshing citrussy acidity to give a great lift on the palate.
Sol de Andes Sauvignon Blanc 2009. Chile	3.25	17.95
Zesty Sauvignon Blanc with fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. The wine shows crisp acidity and good flavour in the finish.
Aromatic and tropical
Cuatro Rayas Sauvignon Blanc 2010. Spain	3.60	19.95
Pale yellow colour with green glints. An intense nose with clear aromas of tropical fruits and aromatic herbs. A crisp, and very tasty wine with light acidity and structure. Pronounced flavours of grapefruit, lemon and peach.

Rich tropical aromas of pear, guava and ripe yellow stone fruits jump out of the glass. The abundance of flavours carry through onto the well-structured palate.

A soft medium white with a delicate almond flavour. This makes a pleasant aperitif. A clean, medium, fruity wine.
I Fiori Lamberti Soave 2009. Italy		18.95
Slightly floral, nutty nose with some subtle peachy fruit. The palate is fresh, bright and clean with almond and apple notes and soft but fresh acidity on the finish. A classic crowd pleasing Soave.
Mussel Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2009. New Zealand	4.60	25.45
From the New Zealand vineyards of Marlborough, this luscious Sauvignon Blanc has lifting hints of passionfruit and a distinctive herbaceous aroma. The palate is filled with tropical fruit flavours and a clean crisp acid finish.
Menetou-Salon Cuvee Beatrice Domaine Henry Pelle 2008. France		30.00
Menetou used to be poor man's Sancerre, but not anymore. This wine is just as good as anything from its more famous neighbour. Crisp, zingy and fresh with delicious gooseberry, lime and mineral notes.
Rich and Full
Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico 2008. Italy		17.95
Enjoyable white wine, with intrinsic almond and citrus flavours. It is very well balanced and delicately scented, combining good weight with a lovely freshness. A dry and persistent finish, with a slightly bitter note of almond and kernels.
Fifth Generation Chardonnay. New South Wales, Australia	3.80	20.95
An understated nose that leads onto some nice tropical fruit in the mouth. This one's not been anywhere near oak and has a lovely clean finish.
Maison Darragon Vouvray 2007. France		26.45
A full and luscious bouquet with hints of apple, backed by more complex aromas which lead to a ripe and ample palate with just a trace of sweetness to help carry the enormous fruit flavour. Balanced by a perfect level of acidity to refresh the palate.

Rosé

Wandering Bear Zinfandel Rosé. California USA	3.25	17.95
Plenty of raspberry and watermelon fruit flavours. Juicy and light, it has a refreshing bright acidity on the finish. A typically blackberry/cherry fruit dominated nose, is matched on the palate by ripe fruit very much to the fore with just enough supporting acidity to create a sound balance.

This rosé is truly sensational and comes with the most tempting violet/pink colour. In the mouth it is very well balanced. Young and truly fabulous, it is very aromatic and has a real freshness to taste.

Produced as an IGT Rubicone in Emilia-Romagna, this is a fresh, dry red with some classic Sangiovese character: crisp cherry and raspberry fruit with ripe tannins and a wave of refreshing acidity on the finish.
Warm and Spicy
Sol de Andes Merlot. Central Valley, Chile	3.25	17.95
Bursting with fresh red fruit aromas especially of raspberry, plum and virginia tobacco. Soft, smooth tannins and great freshness on the palate make it very easy drinking yet with good persistance.
Luis Felipe Edwards Cabernet Suavignon 2010, Chile	3.30	17.95
Rich and opulent cabernet, Deep red with ripe berry-fruit and wispy green pepper. Medium bodied, ripe tannins and lingering fruit on the finish.
Wandering Bear Merlot. California, USA	3.45	18.95
Easy drinking with aromas of rich fruit. Flavours of ripe plum and cherries make this a very quaffable wine from California.

Rich, black plum and raisin aromas are evident with a pleasant hint of toasted oak characteristics. Powerful with dark berry fruits and plum, the palate is enhanced by the medium tannins and good length.

An intense wine with a seductive nose, an explosion of berries and ripe fruit, delicate tannins and a sensational finish. Similar to Muhammad Ali, it floats like a butterfly and you know the rest.
Rich and Plummy
Luis Felipe Edwards Lot 2 Malbec. Rapel Valley, Chile	3.15	17.45
From old Malbec vines, old and new world characteristics combine to give a fragrant wine with plum, chocolate mulberry and spice.
Chateau L'Eglise Bordeaux 2007. France		20.95
Right, here we have a Classic Claret; dry yet thirst quenching with plums, damsons and cherries prominent. It has elegant tannins and a delightful lick of vanilla creamy oak.
Pierre Laplace Chateau d'Aydie Madiran. France		25.95
A blend of Tannat, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is a dark and inky red in color. Some plum and black cherry on the nose. On the palate it is very well-balanced with strong tannins, but also fruity with blueberry, dark currant and black olive. Powerful, yet quite approachable.
Damana 5 Tinto Ribera Del Duero 2005. Spain		26.45
Damana 5 is a fantastic wine from Bodegas Tábula. It is dark and intense wine, and it has a nose of blackberries, black cherries, creamy notes of fine oak, some spices and underbrush aromas. All of these are combined perfectly in a medium to full bodied wine with an excellent finish.
Bodega Catena Zapata Malbec 2007. Argentina		31.95
Ripe, concentrated dark fruit aromas with delicate floral notes and traces of vanilla and mocha. Rich and lush on the palate, with concentrated black cherry and red currant fruit flavours layered with sweet spices, tobacco and a touch of leather. The finish presents soft, supple tannins with bright, crisp acidity and a flinty minerality which gives the wine exceptional length.
Smooth and Earthy
Vina Palaciega Rioja Joven 2009. Spain	3.55	19.45
A bright wine with medium to high intensity. Primary aromas of fruit and red berries underscored by notes of liquorice. Well-balanced in the mouth with a fruity, fresh and clean aftertaste.
Castillo De Clavijo Rioja Reserva 2004. Spain		28.50
You just can't beat a traditionally made Rioja. This wine has an intense combination of raspberry flavours, spice and vanilla, all integrated with oak. It's powerful, full-bodied and well structured, with a warming finish.
Elegant and Light
Rare Vineyards Pinot Noir 2009. France	3.35	18.45
This wine has a smooth, velvety palate and shows cherry and blueberry flavours, all of which are backed by a hint of sweet oak spice.
Chianti Riserva Campobello 2006. Italy	3.90	21.45
Fruity nose, with violets which add to the dark, spicy fruit aromas. A dry, savoury palate with black cherry and dark chocolate notes and spicy oak all playing a role.
Springfield Estate Firefinch Ripe Red 2007. South Africa		23.45
A soft, juicy and fruity blend wine with plenty of berry fruit on the nose and palate supported by firm but ripe tannins and crisp acidity. The birds evidently have very good taste.
Dark and Satanic
D'Arenberg The d'Arry's Original Shiraz/Grenache 2006. Australia.		26.45
Spicy cinnamon and prunes notes, with deep dark fruits (from the shiraz), alongside cranberries and strawberries (from the grenache), all combine to make this a super big and bold red. You could say it's an Aussie rules version of Cote du Rhone.
Fabiano Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso Negraro 2008. Veneto, Italy		32.95
Ripasso wines are fermented and then re-fermented over the skins of the 'Recioto' (the ripest, best grapes, used to make sweet styles). The result has the dry and lively backbone of normal Valpol, but with an extra degree of richness and texture. Not as big or heavy as 'Amarone' but much more serious than standard versions.
Dessert Wine
Chateau Dereszla Tokaji 2000. Hungary		20.95
One of the worlds greatest sweet wines. Full flavoured and luscious with hints of orange peel rising above the intense fresh fruit aromas. (18.5cl bottle).
Muscat de Rivesaltes (Vin Doux Naturel). France		25.50
With a bright light golden colour and a nose of fresh grapes, exotic fruits and a touch of spicy honey suckle and citrus. The palate is full-bodied with sweet ripe grape flavours and balanced by lively acidity, which makes this wine very drinkable indeed! Excellent on its own as an aperitif, or the perfect match to creamy fruit desserts. (50cl bottle, or available by the glass in a 50ml measure.).
Aresti Late Harvest Gewurztraminer. Chile		18.00
With a golden yellow colour, this reveals flowers, spices and caramel on the nose. On the palate, well-balanced sugar and acidity make it fresh and easy to drink. (37.5cl).
