Well, that’s not the news we were hoping for. Following the Government’s announcement, we find ourselves in ‘Tier 3’, which means we will have to wait a little longer until we can open our doors again. We were desperately hoping this wouldn’t be the case.
The tiers are due to be reviewed on the 16th December, so we’re keeping everything crossed for some positive news then but sadly, we won’t be able to honour any bookings that have already been made between now and the 16th December.
However, all is not lost! Thanks so much for your enthusiastic support over the past few weeks with our ‘Click and Collect’ meals. We’re chuffed to bits with how things have gone so far and have really appreciated your positive feedback. We’ll now be looking to introduce some festive dishes to our menu, so follow the link below for all the info and to place an order:
In these tricky times, your messages of support have meant the world to us, so thank you. We’ll keep in touch with any news but in the meantime, please take care and keep everything crossed that we’ll be able to welcome you back to the pub again in a few weeks.
Welcome to the website for the Crabmill
The Crabmill can trace its roots back more than three centuries, and it still bears the marks of history with its tiny leaded windows, weathered half-timbered exterior, crooked beams and flagstone floors. Once a cider mill, it was clearly destined to have a life associated with the enjoyment of drink and now a packed bar sits at its heart serving local ales and a fine array of wines.
You can choose to drink coffee snuggled by the open fire or dine surrounded by oak beams from our freshly prepared menu of classic British dishes, with a little twist here and there.
Our passion lies in finding quality fresh ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way. Our menus have a spine of classic British dishes complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world. We upload them to our web site each day before 12 noon so that you may peruse them at your leisure.
AllTrails have kindly created a circular walk from the pub to help you work up that thirst/appetite. You can view the walk details via any of the routes below. (varying levels of tech savyness required -Ed)
