Monthly Pub Walks

On the last Sunday of the month we like to get together and head off on a little ramble taking in the beautiful views that we are very fortunate to have surrounding our lovely pub. The walks can vary in length but are not too strenuous and therefore suitable for the whole family. We especially love the addition of our four legged friends and you are most welcome to bring yours along too.

The way things work:

We meet at the pub from 9:30am where we serve complimentary tea, coffee and bacon butties to make sure we are ready for the walk ahead. We then set off at 10am (led by Barnaby, our youngest pub dog) on the circular walk, this is around 3 miles long and should take no longer than an hour or so. On route you can take in the beautiful scenery with sights such as Great Mitton Hall & All Hallows church on the River Ribble, Clitheroe castle in the distance and Pendle Hill.

We will arrive back at the pub in time for a refreshment or two and a spot of lunch if you fancy. If you would like to eat with us, we recommend booking a table as it can be quite a busy lunch time and also our dog friendly tables can be in high demand.

The remaining Pub Walk dates for 2019 are:

Sunday 27th October, Sunday 24th November & our Boxing Day walk on Thursday 26th December (10am meet)

We do hope you can join us on the next one and we look forward to meeting you all.

Book online

Use the calendar to book a table. If the time you're after is not available, give us a call and we will try our best to fit you in. We keep some tables for phone bookings.

We don't reserve any of our outside tables so if you enjoy a little alfresco dining these are first come first serve.
