‘Cheffo’, as he is known, managed the Hare in Langton Green from 1996 until opening the White Hart in 2009. During his time at the Hare it won best dining pub in Kent (Good Pub Guide). He has a passion for food and working long hours, but he is over thirty now, so finds it harder to party on through. He loves Manchester United, has called his pet rabbit Trafford, for goodness’ sake and and is married to Lisa.

Ollie, as he is universally known, is an all-round good bloke, and pubs are delighted when he is rota’d on for a stint. He has travelled extensively in Australia, America, U.A.E and Europe, and works like a Trojan, having spent long and demanding holidays from Brookes University erecting marquees and temporary stables in some very testing conditions. He is a beer-drinking rugby player, which obviously stood him in good stead in his interview, as did his natural inclination to wear Crew clothing, in common with the rest of the blokes in B & P.

A survivor from the White Hart's Blubecker days, Becky's unusual surname is a clue to her French origins, and she delights in nothing more than correcting staff and customers on their pigeon French. Now a confirmed Sevenoakian, she has worked at various of the nicer restaurants in town but has now settled happily at the White Hart. A new mum, she amazingly juggles being part of the management team, a new born babe, and a very healthy social life.

Stephen has three passions: football, cooking and cider (although not necessarily in that order). After four months as a roving chef in the company, he decided to settle at the Hare, which was an easy decision as he has friends and family all around.

Paul, also known as "Chuckles", is a very happy chappy with a 'can do', positive, 'glass-half-full' attitude and an infectious laugh. He fits in very well with the all too happy and relaxed chefs at the White Hart - no stressed out Ramsay expletives or Pierre White tantrums here. Paul actually started front of house earlier in his career, but after showing a natural talent for cooking he found himself starting to dress all in white. Paul, much like Eddie, has a second love for two wheeled freedom and owns Chris's dream bike.

Jan is known for having the biggest "guns" in the kitchen. This Slovakian Sagitarian is actually at odds with his mean-machine appearence - he has a love of classic English romantic poetry and he is a keen gardener, growing and supplying the pub with his own Carolinae roses (known for their beautiful white and bright pink hue). Jan spends most of his days off galloping through the surf bareback on his trusty horse Snowdrop, before returning home to cook quiche for his loving girlfriend Jana

One of the 'originals", Nick has progressed from KP to KA to Commis - at this rate we expect him to replace Steve in 2015. Nick is our resident extreme sport nut and loves extreme kiting and will strap anything to the strings of a kite to give him a lift : wake board, sand buggy, french stick.....He is a bit of a outdoorsy type and enjoys shooting, fishing and a bit of camo gear. Despite all these rugged macho pursuits he would have us believe his nickname is Brooksy, whereas in actual fact we've found out from his girlfriend that it is actually "Billy Mouse".

Mark up until recently was in charge of all the lovely parks and public grounds in Tunbridge Wells. We managed to coax him out of semi retirement to look after the White Hart, where he harbours great plans for a herb garden and even a vegetable patch. As is appropriate for a man of his calling, he is greener than green, and prefers pedal power to horse power.

Cheryl zips around like Mrs Speedy on roller skates. In addition to keeping the place spick and span, she runs her own business renting ball gowns and dinner suits, so is very popular around New Year.
