Front of house

Stuart Groves

Stuart is a born and bred Cheshire man who earnt his spurs at the Dysart as a young lad. He studied Business and Information Management at Liverpool Uni but the pull of the pumps was too much to resist. After a stint at the Pheasant in Burwardsley, he went on to run the Bear's Paw in Sandbach before returning to B&P. He loves to socialise with friends, is a keen mountain biker and, God forbid, enjoys golf.

Katy Tidbury

Deputy Manager

Katy started with Brunning and Price in 2012 as a part time waitress and since then has found herself working her way through the ranks up to deputy manager. On shift Katy is often found with a single espresso which she likes to shot for the caffeine buzz, however off shift she is commonly found at the bar with a large glass of Cabernet Sauvignon to hand. In her spare time Katy enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her two dogs Archie and Jasper.

Thomas Girling

Assistant Manager

Tom has a wealth of pub experience behind him and has traversed the country's taverns finding himself once more in Woolhampton. Not to be confused with "Tom B", Tom G is our keen cider drinker and is often found sipping on a pint of Apples (Aspalls) at the end of a busy shift.

Emma Butt

Emma, or "Butty" as she is generally known, is the maternal figure in our crew, always making sure everyone's happy and eating correctly. Leading by example, she is always fifteen minutes early for her shifts so she can squeeze in a breakfast yoghurt. Boss Steve's better half, but we all know, it's really she who wears the trousers.

Benjamin Wakefield

Still living off the fame of his 'Rear of the Year 2011' award, Ben works the bar most evenings. King of the wisecrack, Ben then enjoys a traditional tankard of ale after work.

Kylea Nailer

Bar/Waiting Staff

One Half of The Rowbarge's own Mother/Daughter Duo. She may be small but she has no problem keeping the chefs in check! On her days off she spends her time caring for her horse Nasha.

Murray Jackson

Head Chef

Muzza, to those who know the man, is all about honest home cooked food and when he's not rolling pasta, he's plotting world domination via bluetooth and a myriad of gadgets. Anyone who can control a stereo with a phone is a genius.

John Hooper

Sous Chef

John gets his passion for food from growing his own produce in his allotment. He is often making his own cider, ale, jams and pickles at home and is currently in trouble with the wife for taking over all the shelf space in the cupboards.

Gregory Poole

Junior Sous Chef

Greg is the closest thing we have to an athlete. When not working tirelessly in the kitchen he trains kids to play rugby. He rebuilds (having taken them apart on purpose) cars and rides an old orange race bike to work, which says a lot about the cars... Often needing to wear the hairnet of shame, because his hair has just too much volume.

Alberto Bellugi

Chef de Partie

'Albert' is our football mad, chief of starters. When he's not lining up a hat-trick of charcuteries, he's playing fifa or watching Match of the Day. Alberto and Steve allow no Spurs fans in the kitchen.

Natalia Sieron

Kitchen Assistant

Our mysterious eastern european lady, Natalia, always has a smile on her face no matter how many pans are being thrown at her but she is not afraid to keep the kitchen boys in check. She is becoming well known for her quick witted humour.

Thomas Govier

Kitchen Porter

Tom's our kitchen "chatty man". A keen sportsman, he is often found in his spare time on the rugby pitch.

Purdy Turner

Purdy is the first in the building most mornings and therefore tea-making responsibilities lie with her. Keeping the pub spick and span whilst always smiling, Purdy almost always has a story to tell the early regulars.

Liz Cooper

Cleaner by day, Waitress by night, Liz is always happy to help where ever she is needed. Always calm and cheerful this lady has the patience of a saint! A real family lady at heart including her wonderful dog Sasha.

Ashley Atkins

A man of many handy talents, Ash is a bloke who can fix almost anything. He keeps the pub in ship shape and makes the garden look presentable all year round.
