Supervisor - full time

Hourly rate plus tips and benefits 

We’re looking for a confident and outgoing Supervisor with a great sense of humour to support the management crew.

The role will be very hands-on and extremely varied – you’ll be running shifts and overseeing sections to ensure the best possible customer service.

You’ll need to be a real foodie with a genuine passion for great customer service together with existing knowledge, or an interest in learning about cask ales, beers, wines and spirits.

We need someone who has a real eye for the detail and ideally, previous supervisory experience in a similar pub or restaurant environment.

Apprentice Chef

Are you an enthusiastic chef who wishes to start your career in a high quality, fresh food environment?

This exciting opportunity will enable you to gain experience in all areas of the kitchen whilst working towards a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery.

As an Apprentice Chef, you’ll assist the team in food preparation and production, menu development and food tasting, as well as helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.

Apprentice Chefs will work between 30 to 40 hours a week and your college time will be included in these. Please note you’ll need to work weekends and evenings and you should consider how you will get to and from the pub.

Once you have completed your qualification, you may be offered full time employment with ongoing prospects for career development with us.

Kitchen Porter - full time and part time

Hourly rate + tips + benefits

We’re looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to work full time (around 35 hours per week) or part time, alongside our team of professional chefs.

Hours of work will be flexible and varied including shifts during daytimes, evenings and weekends.

Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing as well as some basic food preparation.

Ideally you have some experience of working in a professional kitchen  together with good organisation and team working skills.
