Supervisor

Hourly rate plus tips and benefits 

We’re looking for a confident and outgoing Supervisor to support the management crew for around 30 hours per week.

The role will be very hands-on and extremely varied – you’ll be running shifts and overseeing sections to ensure the best possible customer service.

You’ll need to be a real foodie with a genuine passion for great customer service together with existing knowledge, or an interest in learning about cask ales, beers, wines and spirits.

We need someone who has a real eye for the detail and ideally, previous supervisory experience in a similar pub or restaurant environment.

Apprentice Chef

Hourly rate plus benefits 

Are you an enthusiastic chef who wishes to start your career in a high quality, fresh food environment?

This exciting opportunity will enable you to gain experience in all areas of the kitchen whilst working towards a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery.

As an Apprentice Chef, you’ll assist the team in food preparation and production, menu development and food tasting, as well as helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.

Apprentice Chefs will work between 30 to 40 hours a week and your college time will be included in these. Please note you’ll need to work weekends and evenings and you should consider how you will get to and from the pub.

Once you have completed your qualification, you may be offered full time employment with ongoing prospects for career development with us.

Commis Chef

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and committed Commis Chef with a genuine interest in developing a rewarding career in professional cookery.

Kitchen Porter

Competitive rates of pay plus tips 

We are looking for full time Kitchen Porters who are able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings to work alongside our team of busy chefs.

Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic food preparation.

Hourly rate 

We are looking for friendly and conscientious cleaner who takes a real pride in their work to work 5 mornings per week (to include weekends) for approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Previous experience is preferred - general duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, toilet cleaning, use of floor buffing machine and other general cleaning tasks.

Gardener and Maintenance person

Competitive hourly rate

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic part time Gardener/Maintenance person to 5 mornings per week (to include some weekends)

We're looking for someone to take responsibility for general gardening duties including cutting grass, maintaining borders as well as nurturing planters and hanging baskets and so a genuine interest in horticulture and knowledge of garden pest/weed control is required. 

The successful person will also have confidence in general DIY tasks as the position involves general maintenance such as painting, woodwork, basic plumbing and generally keeping the grounds clean and tidy.
