Chef de Partie

Salary starting at £19,000 - £24,000 per annum plus paid overtime tips and company benefits

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who will help set the highest standards of food quality and consistency at our pub, The Hare. The pub is set in the heart of Langton Green, just outside of Tunbridge Wells, and has a strong reputation as a popular foodie pub in the area. Depending on your experience, we’ll reward you with a salary starting from £19,000 - £24,000 plus tips and company benefits. We envisage you working 45 hours per week, however we will also pay you overtime for any hours outside of your normal working week. 
This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of cooking delicious dishes, maintaining effective kitchen controls and adhering to excellent standards of health and hygiene. 
The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for an ambitious and committed chef with a passion for good food who is ready to take the next step in their career. We provide all our chefs with real opportunities to develop with us into a senior chef role with training and support in place for you along the way. Commis Chef

up to £8.00 - £9.50 per hour plus tips and company benefits 

We’re looking for an ambitious and committed junior chef with a passion for food to work alongside our team of professional chefs in our happy kitchen environment.

This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of delicious dishes, effective kitchen controls and excellent standards of health and hygiene.

If you’ve already gained some experience in a busy kitchen environment and have enthusiasm and a genuine interest in a rewarding career in cooking we’d love to hear from you.

We see our junior chefs as our head chefs of the future and this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a busy environment, working with professional chefs to create delicious dishes using quality ingredients.

Kitchen Porter - Full and Part time

Hourly rate plus tips and company benefits

We are looking for a full time and a part time Kitchen Porter to work alongside our team of busy chefs.
We need people who can work flexibly, including weekends and split shifts (during mornings, lunchtimes and evenings). Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic food preparation. 
Previous experience preferred although enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working in a busy kitchen with high standards of food hygiene is essential. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in a career as a chef. We will provide you with training and the opportunities to develop your skills in our busy kitchens.
