Tracey Varley
Manager
Tracey has had a long and interesting career in the business, including cheffing at the Rothay Manor Hotel in Cumbria, then assistant, deputy and restaurant manager at Llyndir Hall Hotel, Rossett. This was followed by over 4 years working at the Pant with Duncan, Graham Arathoon and then Lindsey. She then moved to Philpotts Sandwiches in Chester, where she was a senior manager, before coming back to the fold in 2007.

Deputy Manager
Surf man! In a previous decade Dave would have been hanging out with the Beachboys. Being of an aquatic nature, he has taught windsurfing in Greece for a few seasons, did a bit of work in his local boozer in Kelsall when he got back from abroad, liked the job, joined us and the rest is history. Dave has cornered the market in the loud shirt department, but if he hangs on long enough, the fashion is sure to come round again.

Peter Franks
Assistant Manager
Pete is originally from north Wales, but currently lives in Manchester and travels in each day because he has such a good time in the social scene there. He got a good degree from Uni, but a first in bars and clubs, football and rugby, so has decided to make the most of his interests and work at the Grosvenor.

Trainee Assistant Manager
Jo is our very own Baywatch babe who we stole from Panama Hattys where she'd been for some five years. She tells us she's got her head screwed on because her and her boyfriend have just got their first house, but there again, she supports Man Utd - case unproven.

Jeni Clegg
Trainee Assistant Manager
Jeni is a local lass who hails from Malpas. After 'A' levels, she took a gap year and worked at Hill Valley Golf Club before a stint doing voluntary work in Kenya. Jeni is a bit of a thesp, and is very active with the Whitchurch Theatre group.

Bar/Waiting Staff
Jenny lives locally on a farm and has a whole menagerie of animals to look after. When she first arrived she was as quiet as a mouse, which is hard to believe if you meet her now - she’s really found her feet and is thriving.

Michael Hines
Junior Sous Chef
Mike joined as a novice chef in 1999 and has not looked back. He is fully qualified and loves working with all the great guys in the kitchen. Mike runs the Fantasy Football league in the pub and is looking after all the money the guys are paying him – his next holiday is already booked.

Hannah Chamberlain
Senior Chef de Partie
Hannah Chamberlain has been a chef since she left school, and held jobs at the Arkle and Carden Park before joining us. She has listed her interests as swimming, socialising, reading and collecting beer bottle tops. Strange, but true.

Andrew Fletcher
Part-Time Chef
Andy joined the company as a roving chef in 1996, but has had time as a second chef at the Pant and head chef at the Cross Foxes. After returning to roving again for a couple of years in 2001 he decided to hang up his car keys to join the Grosvenor kitchens. Andy is very calm and even-tempered, with the demeanour of a Buddhist monk, which comes in handy in the fevered atmosphere of busy pub kitchens.

David Brunt
Kitchen Porter
Born in Sheffield, when there was a steel industry, Dave did nine years in the RAF as an aircraft engine fitter - then worked in the motor trade as a mechanic. He is a keen Sheffield Wed supporter and likes motor sport, DIY and beer, like every other bloke on the planet (apart from the Sheffield Wednesday bit, that is).

Maintenance

Diane Roberts
Cleaner
"Di bach" as we call her (with a heavy Welsh accent) brings a much needed touch of glamour to the often roughie toughie world of the KP, and the KP at the Grosvenor in particular (a previous occupant of this post was Psycho). Married with two children,Di likes nothing better on a Friday night than being tucked up in bed with some cocoa watching her favourite Welsh soap, Pobl y cum.

Cleaner
Debbie started out as one of the girls who helped out with a contract cleaner, but Gary worked a flanker and got her on board. Debbie in her time has tried most jobs under the sun, and we're not so sure that she was not a bunny girl.
