We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who will help set the highest standards of food quality and consistency. This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of cooking delicious dishes, maintaining effective kitchen controls and adhering to excellent standards of health and hygiene. The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for an ambitious and committed chef with a passion for good food who is ready to take the next step in their career. We provide all our chefs with real opportunities to develop with us into a senior chef role with training and support in place for you along the way.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to gain experience in all areas of the kitchen whilst working towards a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery.
Our menus have a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world: in other words, modern British cookery. Our passion lies in finding quality ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way. As an Apprentice Chef, you’ll assist the team in food preparation and cooking, menu development and food tasting, as well as helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.
You’ll need to be able to work well under pressure, our kitchens are busy, fast paced environments but the rest of the chef team will be there to support you.
We’re looking for reliable, punctual, people with a ‘can do’ attitude together with a genuine passion for cooking fresh food and a keenness to learn.
Apprentice Chefs will work between 30 to 40 hours a week and your college time will be included in these. Once you have completed your qualification within the role, you may be offered full time employment with ongoing prospects for career development with a company that has been awarded Pub Group of the Year on numerous occasions.

We're looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to work alongside our team
of chefs during our particularly busy times - evenings, weekends and
lunchtimes. Duties will be varied and will include helping to keep the
kitchen clean, operate the dishwasher, hand dish washing and some basic
food preparation. We are very flexible and try to work around people's
