Training is pretty fundamental in developing a person’s skills and career, so we’ve developed a fully-equipped training kitchen and meeting room at our head office near Chester, where we run a wide range of courses. Of course, a lot of training goes on in the pubs all the time, but there are also plenty of external courses that people find useful as well.
We chat to people regularly to look at where they would like to go within the company, and sort out which courses or moves will help them get there - and we promote from within whenever we can.
