We’re looking for a warm and charismatic Assistant Manager to support our existing pub management team in many aspects of the day to day running of the pub.

Helping to run a Brunning and Price pub is a multi-facetted career: you’ll need to be a real foodie; have a real passion for decent beer and wine; enjoy looking after others and help build and direct a happy crew.

The role will therefore be very hands-on and extremely varied encompassing people management, food and drink, customer service, pub maintenance and day to day financial administration.

We're looking for a fun character with some pub management experience who will set the bar high and have an eye for detail.

Being an Assistant Manager is an ideal opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of every aspect of pub life. We see our assistant managers as the first step on the pub management career ladder and we always try to promote from within when we can.

We’ll reward you with a salary package around £17.5K to and you’ll be part of a successful, growing company who have been awarded Pub Group of the Year on four occasions.

We are on the lookout for part-time Bar/Waiting staff to join our happy pub crew to help out during busy evenings, lunch times and weekends.

Previous experience is always helpful but not essential - what’s more important is a genuine interest in food and drink, a real desire to making our customers happy and a friendly outgoing personality.

We can be quite flexible and can fit around most people’s commitments.

We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who will help set the highest standards of food quality and consistency.

We’re looking for ambitious and committed chef with a passion for food who is ready to take the next step in his or her career.

For us it’s all about serving fresh, simple, high quality traditional dishes extremely well and all of our pubs are featured in the Good Pub Guide.

This is a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of delicious dishes, effective kitchen controls and excellent standards of health and hygiene.

We see our CDP’s as being on the first step of the ladder to a senior chef role and we’ll provide support and development opportunities for you along the way.
