    Paul Jeffery
    Manager
Paul has been in the hospitality world for many years, having been with Nick at the infamous Churton’s Wine bar for some five years, so he must have an iron constitution. He was the president of his student union and got a Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, so he’s not just a lounge lizard – although we don’t reckon he’s seen the top of a mountain for some time now.

    Deputy Manager
Emma travelled the world for two years in a pink campervan called Hilary, ending up working on a cattle station in Australia. Before she joined B&P, she was a retail manager and group buyer for Blue Planet and flew around the world buying geegaws. She is no stranger to a glass of wine, both red and white, and has a Jack Russell called Honey.

    Jennifer Love
    Assistant Manager
Jen joined us from a swanky cocktail bar and restaurant in the Northern Quarter after realising that beer is best. She always has a smile on her face, and is rarely seen without a bottle of pop and a bag of crisps to hand. Jen gets very excited by things: so much so that she often forgets to breathe between sentences: her middle name is 'fun', and she is determined to get the most out of life.

    Doorman
You couldn't really teach Aaron anything about Harkers customers. He's been "doing" the door forever.

    Jeremy Houlbrook
    Head Chef
Jez has been with B & P now for many years - he started as a junior chef de partie at Glasfryn in 1999 and has diligently worked his way to the heights of Head Chefdom. This is his second stint heading up the kitchens at Harkers, having had a spell in the sticks as the Dysart's Head Chef. Jez is one of those chefs who maintains an even keel when the going gets tough, so should do well coping with Paul.

    Sous Chef
One of the prettier less grumpy chefs in Harkers' bijou kitchen.Dave been cheffing for years at various levels up to Executive chef, and now just wants to cook for the love it. He's very laid back with a keen interest in outdoor sports, loves all things water related (including the odd scoop), climbing and travelling. All round good bloke really.

    Third Chef
Paul came to Harkers from Hoole Hall, bringing with him a barrow load of enthusiasm and the joys of youth. He likes to fish, play pool and party in his spare time, so with that up his sleeve he gets on with just about everyone.

    Warren Chadwick
    Chef de Partie
Father of one Warren is a no nonsense, straight to business kind of chap with a wide Anglo-Saxon vocabulary and serious passion for food. Unflappable in a crisis, 'Wozza' is the kind of person you know you can rely on.
